I had not tried Hojicha powder before trying Smoky Mischief, and I was unsure what to expect. This tea is a lot different than the boring generic and name brand tea bags out there.

Firstly, it is a roasted powder, so no bag is required. Simply portion the powder into your cup and add hot water. As you stir/whisk the drink, the powder dissolves in the water. Voila, my tea was ready to drink.
This tea has a deep, smoky, almost earthy flavor that I enjoyed. I also appreciated the health benefits of drinking this amazing green tea.
